Description
The title for this sculpture, “Kvinneakt,” means nude woman in Norwegian. Created by Seattle-based artist Norman Taylor, the sculpture was made famous in 1978 by the “Expose Yourself to Art Poster” featuring former Portland Mayor, Bud Clark. Taylor intended the sculpture to be confrontational stating that “the worst reaction you could give my work is no reaction.”
