Description
These gates were created and installed by New Orleans natives, George Dureau and Ersy Schwartz, in conjunction with the expansion and enlargement of the New Orleans Museum of Art. The work was commissioned by the Percent for Art Program, administered by the Arts Council of New Orleans. The gates, ranging in height, are made of bronze and steel, and depict the inspiration and technique of the creative process.
