Description
The Barr Building, conspicuous on lower Broadway by virtue of its size and unusual detailing, is one of San Antonio’s numerous small-scale commercial buildings designed by Leo M. J. Dielmann. It was designed to serve owner and photographer David Perry Barr, who leased out the ground level and lived and officed on the second floor, which features an inset balcony overlooking the street.
