Description
The piece titled Spider sits at the front of the lawn at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. The artist, Louise Bourgeois, is best known for her contributions to modern and contemporary art. She began her career as a Surrealist painter in France, but when she moved to American with her husband in the 1940s she started sculpting.
