Description
This mural is a collaboration between students in the p:ear program and the artist, Rodolfo Serna. The mural is designed to reflect the student's diversity, to highlight the theme of unity, and to foster a sense of community in the neighborhood. The mural is divided into three sections by bands of Aztec symbols. The center features mother earth in the form of Turtle Island, and within it are the colors of the Medicine Wheel, which symbolize our relationship with one another. Each quadrant of the...
