Description
Artist Scott Parsons drew upon many inspirations to create “Solstice Window,” a piece that is integrated with the architectural design for the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College. Ancient iconography at ancestral Pueblo sites, spirals carvings found by archeologists, and patterns of sunlight and shadow in Colorado’s arid landscape all played a role in this work.
