Description
Art in Public Places commissioned Lori Norwood to create Learning to Fly, a public artwork for the entrance of the Milwood Branch Library. Throughout the project, Norwood connected with children from the Milwood neighborhood, teaching classes in gesture drawing at Summitt Elementary School and using students as the models for her figures.
