Description
The National Aquarium was a key component in Baltimore's Inner Harbor redevelopment project, spearheaded by Mayor William Donald Schaefer and Commissioner of Housing Robert Embry in the mid-1970s. The Aquarium, designed by Cambridge Seven Associates, Inc., opened in 1981.
