Description
A solar demonstration project, the Aztec Calendar Pavilion is a shaded yet light-filled gathering and performance space with an elaborate detailed ceiling, paying homage to the original Aztec Calendar. When viewed from below the shadow of the Aztec Calendar is revealed in the intricate detail. Integrated into the ceiling are light-reflecting crystals which will throw light beams through the ceiling and onto the ground below.
