AT&T/SBC Switching Center (formerly Indiana Bell Telephone Switching Center), completed in 1978, was designed by Paul Kennon and Jay Bauer of Caudill Rowlett Scott. The architectural challenge was to design an addition for an existing commercial building on a transitional site joining the business district and one of the community's older residential neighborhoods.
