Art by Architects 2026 Showcase Opening

Art by Architects NYC was founded in 2018 to highlight the creative multimedia exploration of architects that is often hidden behind the daily efforts of creating the built environment as we know it. Join us this year for our 6th Showcase! The call for artists and submissions is open through March 16 or until fully subscribed.

Art by Architects has shown work from over 100 architects, professors and students of architecture, and interior designers from all over the New York metro area. It has brought together individuals from cross-disciplinary areas within the field of architecture and provided a place to celebrate each other's creative processes outside of the office.  

Beyond the opportunity to share creations in community, the show has raised funds for various causes. This year income from the sale of select artworks and reception tickets will benefit the Center for Architecture's Annual Education Fund which makes possible the programming which nurtures an understanding and appreciation for architecture and inspires the next generation of design leaders. The fund supports K-12 program staff, subsidizes fees to partner schools, and provides scholarships.

The works submitted to the sixth-annual Art by Architects showcase will be shown at the Center for Architecture during opening hours from Thursday, April 2, 6:00 pm to Saturday April 4, 3:00 pm. The Thursday evening celebratory reception welcomes guests and artists for a time of sharing and networking.
