Brenda Levin is a highly respected Los Angeles-based architect and advocate for historic preservation. She is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has made significant contributions to the restoration and preservation of iconic Los Angeles landmarks. Some of her major projects include the Bradbury Building, Griffith Observatory, Wiltern Theatre, City Hall, Grand Central Market, and Dodger Stadium.
Levin was born in New Jersey and studied graphic design at Carnegie Mellon and New York University. She later pursued architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. After moving to Los Angeles in 1976, she worked for architect John Lautner before opening her own firm, Levin & Associates, in 1980.
Her firm has received numerous awards and recognition for its work in preserving and revitalizing historic buildings while also designing new educational, cultural, and civic projects.
