Tim Love is the founding principal of Utile, a Boston-based architecture and urban planning firm. In academia, Love is a tenured Associate Professor at Northeastern University’s School of Architecture. He teaches design studios and seminars that intersect urban design, policy, and real estate development. His expertise is recognized in the field, as evidenced by his tenure and his role as a lecturer at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Love’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he graduated with distinction and received the Henry Adams Medal. He has also served as the President of the Boston Society of Architects and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Virginia School of Architecture.
