James Timberlake is a renowned architect and partner at KieranTimberlake, an architecture firm he co-founded in 1984. His work is characterized by its holistic integration to site, program, and people, and his innovative exploration of efficient construction methods, resource conservation strategies, and novel use of building materials.
Notable projects under his guidance include the University of Pennsylvania’s Melvin J. and Claire Levine Hall, the SmartWrap exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, the Cellophane House exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Embassy of the United States in London.
