The Jackie Robinson Museum, is dedicated to honoring Jackie Robinson's legacy. Opened in 2022 after over fourteen years of planning, it is the city's first museum primarily focused on the Civil Rights Movement. The museum features a collection of over four thousand artifacts, many from the Robinson family's personal collection, including Jackie Robinson's original National Baseball Hall of Fame plaque. In addition to celebrating his baseball career, the museum highlights Robinson's significant contributions to civil rights. Operated by the Jackie Robinson Foundation, it serves as an educational center for visitors.
