Benjamin Ralph Kimlau was a Chinese American U.S. Army Air Forces bomber pilot. Born in Massachusetts and raised in New York City, he graduated from Pennsylvania Military College in 1942, initially serving in the Field Artillery before transferring to the 380th Bombardment Group. Flying B-24 missions from Australia during the New Guinea campaign, he was killed in action on March 5, 1944, near Los Negros Island. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Honored with a memorial gate in Chinatown, New York, and an American Legion post in his name, his remains were reinterred at Arlington in 1968.
