Eduardo Castillo Cortes founded Castillo Arquitectos in Guatemala City in 2004. He received his Master of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Georgia, and is the author of the Municipal Guide for Urban Design & Roadways for use in Central American and Caribbean cities. His planning work has been recognized with two Charter Awards by the Congress for New Urbanism. In the years 2019 and 2020, he was named one of the most outstanding creatives in Central America by the regional issue of Forbes magazine.
