IN STUDIO was founded by Martin Finio in 2023 as a continuation of his internationally recognized practice, Christoff:Finio Architecture, which he co-founded in 1999.
IN STUDIO treats every project as a new opportunity to ask what architecture can do. Each represents some important discovery for us, or brings a repeating inquiry to light, or reminds us of what an architecture—our architecture—should embody and sustain.
Our concern lies with the people who engage with our work, and how form, technology, craft and material affect their lives. We are interested in how architecture performs. How it shows us where we are—in place and in time—and how it helps us thrive.
Ideas drive our work; ideas about making. We are most committed to the time and attention it takes to create architecture; to manifest ideas in physical form with precision and clarity, elegance and restraint.
