Nader Tehrani is the Principal and co-founder of the architecture firm NADAAA. He received a B.F.A. and a B.Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design (1985, 1986) and a Masters in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (1991). Tehrani’s work has been recognized with notable awards, including the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in Architecture (2007), the United States Artists Fellowship in Architecture and Design (2007), and the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture (2002). He has also served as a Professor and the Head of the Department of Architecture at MIT. He has also taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design, Georgia Institute of Technology, and University of Toronto. His notable works include the MIT Site 4, Melbourne School of Design, at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne and Hinman Research Building at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
