Ricardo Scofidio is a distinguished American architect and a founding partner of the interdisciplinary design studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R), established in 1981. Alongside Elizabeth Diller and Charles Renfro, Scofidio has led the firm to international acclaim. Some of their notable projects include the High Line in New York City, the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and the Broad Museum in Los Angeles. The firm is known for its innovative approach, integrating architecture, visual arts, and performance arts. Scofidio has also been a professor at the Cooper Union School of Architecture since 1965 and was honored with a MacArthur "Genius" Award in 1999.
