Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair was an American society magazine published from 1913 to 1936. Founded by Condé Nast, it gained popularity under editor Frank Crowninshield, featuring works by prominent writers like T.S. Eliot and Gertrude Stein. Robert Benchley and Dorothy Parker were key staff members. 

Despite its success in the 1920s, Vanity Fair struggled during the Great Depression, leading to its merger with Vogue in 1936. 

The magazine was revived in the 1980s as a leading culture and lifestyle publication.
