The Amant project by SO-IL in Brooklyn features a series of interconnected buildings spread across three blocks in North Brooklyn. The design integrates artist studios, galleries, offices, a performance space, a café, and a bookstore into the urban fabric. The buildings are characterized by their use of materials like white bricks, cast-in-place concrete, and aluminum louvers, which create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. Courtyards and thoroughfares weave through the campus, providing accessible outdoor spaces and fostering a sense of community and interaction.
