Pierced Stone Grille

This large relief contains an abundance of symbolism. Both the Big Dipper and the Southern Cross, are pictured, symbolizing the north and south hemispheres. The new order is represented by the eagle and smokestack; the old order is symbolized by the Norman Tower and the Lion. The East is represented by a Mosque; an Aztec Temple represents the West. Four figures shown right over the door represent the four races of man.
