Clinton Foundation founded

The Clinton Foundation, founded in 2001 by Bill Clinton, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on addressing global challenges through its own humanitarian programs. By 2016, it had raised about $2 billion, drawing both praise for its impact and criticism over donor sources. Neither Bill, Hillary, nor Chelsea Clinton has received a salary from the foundation. Although accused of wrongdoing beginning in 2015, multiple investigations found no evidence of misconduct.
