Downtown Crossing

Downtown Crossing is a shopping district in downtown Boston, located between Boston Common, the Financial District, and Chinatown. It features large department stores, restaurants, retail shops, and street vendors. The district's name comes from the intersection of Washington, Winter, and Summer Streets. Historically, it was anchored by Jordan Marsh and Filene's department stores, although both have since closed. The area remains a popular pedestrian shopping hub, with the nearby Downtown Crossing MBTA station serving as a key transit point for visitors.
