Emily Warren Roebling Plaza, located beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, connects Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Main Street and John Street sections with the southern piers. Named in honor of Emily Warren Roebling, who played a crucial role in the completion of the bridge, the plaza features concrete pavers echoing the bridge’s design, trees, lawns, and benches. It marks the final completion of the park as originally planned. Enhanced pedestrian safety is provided by over one hundred protective bollards along key streets in the area.
