This project includes the design of a headquarters, event space and classrooms for the Greater Newark Conservancy and its Urban Environmental Center. Located in downtown Newark, the new facility will occupy a historic synagogue. The building addition, distinguished from the historic brick building, features a recycled urban hardwood rain screen and reflects the Conservancy’s mission and focus.
