The James A. and Ruth M. Bailey House is a Romanesque Revival limestone mansion in Harlem, built for circus impresario James Anthony Bailey. Known for its hand-carved timber interior and unique stained-glass windows, it has Flemish-style gables and a corner tower. Over the years, it changed ownership, becoming a funeral home. Damaged by fire in 2000, the house was sold in 2009 and continues undergoing restoration.
