City and Country, a historic progressive school in New York’s Greenwich Village, is housed in a collection of converted townhouses connected by internal yards. For more than a decade, Sage and Coombe has worked with the school to complete upgrades to its systems and accessibility, design new art, science and general classrooms, an open-air connecting passage with a planted roof and the integration of a new townhouse.
