Belvedere Tower

The Belvedere Castle was designed by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould and was originally used as a lookout. The Belvedere Tower was the home for the New York Meteorological Observatory, founded by Dr. Daniel Draper in 1868. It is now used by the United States Weather Bureau.
