The Bertine Block Historic District of the Bronx consists of 31 residential buildings erected between 1877 & 1899. It is characterized by a row of yellow brick and brownstone houses. The Queen-Anne style homes were built in 1891 by developer Edward D. Bertine and designed by George Keister.
