Brooklyn Heights Historic District

Description

The Brooklyn Heights Historic District was designated in 1965 as Brooklyn`s first historic district. Through the variety and material integrity of its architecture, this district demonstrates the development of New York City`s urban residential design from the 1820s to the present. It contains some of the City`s most important institutional buildings.
