The Arup Downtown Los Angeles office, designed by Bestor Architecture in collaboration with SmithGroup and Mata Construction, occupies three floors in the Wilshire Grand Center. The open-plan design situates workspaces along the perimeter, allowing ample sunlight throughout the day. A custom "interior light shelf" diffuses sunlight, reducing the need for electric illumination and air-conditioning. Flexible workstations emphasize ergonomics, featuring personal sit-stand desks and various seating options. The office includes gender-neutral bathrooms, a nursing room, and a wellness room. Unique features like the SoundLab + ExperienceLab and a large café enhance the working environment.
