This painted glass installation, entitled Water Walk, is located in the lobby of the new Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. The hospital supports a holistic therapeutic approach to restore patients` independence and to facilitate their transition back to the community. It`s location affords harbor views and dock facilities for therapeutic water sports and community use. The painted glass installation consists of mouth-blown sheet glass with vitreous paint laminated to mirror. It is inspired by water, its movement, the play of reflections on its surface and the connections between water and healing.
