While Romare Bearden died before this stain glass triptych could be completed, his fabricators ensured that every single one of the mosaic's hundreds of facets was installed according to the artist's specifications. The result is a richly-colored and collage-like image of skyscrapers, apartments, and an elevated train. An MTA Arts for Transit project.
