Two sculptures, shaped as space cruisers and constructed with photos of Austin`s historic and new cityscapes, hover above the concourse on the mezzanine walls at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. One, located on the west side, uses images taken during the daytime, and its mirror to the east uses images taken at night. For each ship, images were transferred onto 126 individually cut and shaped aluminum composite segments and attached to a steel and wood armature.
