A former Ozone Park bar owned by Jimmy "the Gent" Burke gained notoriety after the 1978 Lufthansa heist, a robbery dramatized in Goodfellas. Burke, portrayed by Robert De Niro, allegedly used the bar as a base for the heist and its subsequent cover-up, which left a trail of bodies. In 1980, FBI investigators even uncovered buried remains in the bar's basement, further cementing its infamous legacy. The bar closed shortly after Burke's arrest in 1979.
