Friends released

Friends is deeply relevant to New York City as one of its most iconic cultural touchstones. While primarily filmed in California soundstages, the show's Manhattan setting created a global phenomenon that drives tourism, defines pop-culture perceptions of city living, and continues to influence the local entertainment economy. 

The "Friends" Apartment was located at 90 Bedford Street (at the corner of Grove Street in Greenwich Village), with the Restaurant Central Perk (real name The Little Owl) at the ground level.
