Text Walk

Commissioned by Emerson College, through Joe Ketner, the Lois and Henry Foster Chair in Contemporary Art at Emerson College, Text walk is an interactive work of art that makes use of the construction scaffolding surrounding the Little Building on Emerson’s downtown Boston campus. 32 LED projectors shoot fragments of poetry and text from Emerson graduates onto banners slung between the steel staging supports. The projections are activated by movement on the sidewalk surrounding the building.
