Material: Stone, tile and fiberglass installation throughout the station complex
Inspired by sites near the station including the Coney Island boardwalk, the historic Cyclone roller coaster, New York Aquarium, Acconci Studio collaborated with station architect Daniel Frankfurt to create a station façade with no clear delineation between the architecture and the art. Commissioned by MTA Arts for Transit.
