Inspired by sites near the station including the Coney Island boardwalk, the historic Cyclone roller coaster, New York Aquarium, Acconci Studio collaborated with station architect Daniel Frankfurt to create a station facade with no clear delineation between the architecture and the art. Commissioned by MTA Arts for Transit.
