Francis Russell "Frank" O'Hara

While living on 90 University Place, New York, in 1957–59, the poet, critic, and curator wrote a monograph about artist Jackson Pollock. A leader of the “New York School” of poets, his poems dealt with urban themes in an expressionist style analogous to Pollock’s action paintings.^[1]
