Angelo Candalepas and Associates' projects range from religious buildings to public parks, individual houses to large multi-residential developments. Angelo Candalepas established Angelo Candalepas and Associates in 1999 and since then the company has won a significant number of awards including the Australian Institute of Architects Sulman Medal for Public Architecture in 2009 and 2018, The Frederick Romberg and Seidler National Awards in Architecture, the Aaron Bolot Award numerous times and the Premier’s Award. Most recently, the firm won a significant competition for The National Gallery of Victoria Contemporary a major part of a $1.7 billion arts initiative of the Victorian government and Australia’s largest gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design. The firm’s work has been published globally in prestigious journals, magazines, and four international books.
