Thomas Paine Residence in New York

After he returned from France, Thomas Paine returned to New York. His health was ruined from his time in French Prisons. He lived in two boardinghouses in New York, the first being on Raisin Street which became Bleaker Street, and the second around the corner on Grove Street where he died in 1809.
