Wardle has grown to include four partners in addition to founder John Wardle: Mathew van Koop, Jasmin Williamson, James Loder, and Meaghan Dwyer. The firm operates from two studios in Melbourne and Sydney. The practice has been awarded multiple prizes, including being honoured twice with the Australian Institute of Architects’ Sir Zelman Cowen Award for the most outstanding work of public architecture in Australia. In 2016, the firm was jointly awarded the Melbourne Prize for the Tanderrum Bridge in collaboration with NADAAA.
Wardle’s installation “Somewhere Other” was Australia’s entry in the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale.
