Ann Beha’s work is marked by its strong historical, cultural and educational content ,and her advocacy for the integration of contemporary design within historic settings. Many of Ann's projects expand the understanding and presentation of landmarks and historic sites in America’s cities and on heritage campuses, and her work for the visual and performing arts offer dynamic opportunities for a broadened audience.
Ann Beha’s projects have received national and international design awards and are widely published. Among these are the Music Building at the University of Pennsylvania; the New Britain Museum of American Art in Connecticut; the Carl A. Fields Center at Princeton University; Portland Art Museum in Oregon; Daniel Arts Center at Bard College at Simon’s Rock; the Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity in Boston. She is currently leading projects at the University of Chicago, Cornell University, the New England Conservatory of Music and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Ann Beha is a graduate of Wellesley College, holds a Master of Architecture Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and was a Loeb Fellow at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. She was Distinguished Visiting Professor of Architecture at the City College of New York for the 2012 Spring Semester.
