Barbara Bestor, an architect based in Los Angeles, founded Bestor Architecture in 1995. Her body of work includes a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and cultural sectors. Some of her noteworthy projects include transforming an industrial building for the Beats by Dre Headquarters in Culver City, designing the Silverlake Conservatory of Music in a classic Hollywood warehouse, developing the Blackbirds urban housing project in Echo Park, and creating the unique atmosphere of Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea in Los Angeles.Bestor's contributions to contemporary architecture have earned her recognition, including being elected to the American Institute of Architects' College of Fellows in 2017.
