Jane Weinzapfel is Principal and cofounder of Leers Weinzapfel Associates. The firm’s award winning projects include the Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation, the University of Cincinnati Student Services Pavilion, the University of Pennsylvania Chiller Plant, and the MBTA Operations Control Center in Boston. Jane lectures widely throughout the United States and abroad. She has taught at MIT’s School of A+P, University of Arizona, and was a Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome. Weinzapfel is an Overseer and former Trustee of the Boston Architectural College and is on the Board of Trustees of Boston by Foot. Formerly, she was a President of the Boston Society of Architects, a Board Member of the New England Regional AIA, a member of the Mayor’s Boston Transportation Advisory Committee, and a Board Member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
