Farshid Moussavi is an internationally acclaimed architect and educator. She is the founder of Farshid Moussavi Architecture (FMA) and a Professor in Practice of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Her notable projects include the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, USA, and the Ismaili Center Houston. Moussavi’s academic career includes teaching at the Architectural Association in London and serving as Head of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Since 2005, she has been a Professor in Practice at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2018 for services to architecture and was elected a Royal Academician in 2015.
