Ashes & Diamonds Winery, located in Napa Valley and designed by Bestor Architecture, showcases modernist architecture through two distinct rectangular buildings: a wine production facility and a hospitality building. The production facility features pre-engineered metal panels and large porthole windows, creating an industrial aesthetic. The hospitality building, clad in stucco and featuring a folded-plate canopy, mitigates sunlight and echoes the surrounding rolling hills.
The interior design of the hospitality building incorporates vivid colors and dynamic forms, with furnishings such as Eero Saarinen-designed chairs and North African rugs. The layout includes outdoor courtyards that enhance the indoor-outdoor experience, staying true to the California design ethos.
